The Nordic region and northern Scandinavia are a paradise for landscape photographers, with an incredible variety of dramatic and peaceful scenes. During the summer months, northern Scandinavia is transformed into a magical landscape where the sun never sets. This provides endless opportunities to photograph in a soft, golden light.
My name is Peter Strehlenert and I am a landscape photographer who lives and works in northern Sweden. Based in Umeå, I mainly travel around northern Sweden and Norway on my simple adventures to discover, experience and photograph. I have been photographing more or less successfully since the late 80s. Today I am a much older photographer who mainly photographs the Nordic landscape during all seasons of the year.
